 |  | Beautifully made instrument made around 1850 with rosewood over spruce back, solid sides. Ebony fingerboard and fancy ebony pin bridge. Engraved ivory button tuners. Nice wood bindings. A few minor well repaired age cracks. Possibly an early Martin style 18, same headstock, heal design and trim, but different bridge and bracing pattern. A mega rare early museum piece of Americana showing early European influences on American designs ? purchased from Top Shelf Music. see Links page. |
