Harmony Sovereign
Click to enlargeThis is the concert model made by Harmony in 1968. It has the sweetest of clear tones and is great for fingerstyle and chords. I love the black colour on this one. Dark and moody. One of the best guitars I have for recording solo backing accompanyment for songs.
Harmony Redbird 1920's
Click to enlargeClick to enlargeI don't know of anyone who has any information on this excessively rare Harmony. It has beautifull birds of paradise painted on the front and inlaid mother of pearl marquetry all over. It is constructed of solid mahogany back and sides with a pine top. A rare piece of Harmony history that could be the only one of it's kind left in the world today ?
Harmony Patrician
Click to enlargeBeautiful example of these mid -20th Century made Harmonies. The Patrician has maple back and sides, pearl dot inlays and has a very lively sound. Not much bottom end acoustically but with a pick up it's a monster. Great for chordal work. Growing in collectability.
Harmony H72
Click to enlargeClick to enlarge1960's Harmony H72. Excellent condition.guitar.The late 60’s DeArmond “mustache” p/ups have a little more output and a bit more growl than their predecessors.Bigsby tremelo unit . Great example of this underrated and very versatile guitar.
Harmony Lindberg
Click to enlargeClick to enlargeVery rare circa. 1927. from the early Harmony company. This model commemorated the Lindbergh flight with it's airplane shaped bridge. The back and sides are Hawaiian koa wood and bound in tortoise. The top is spruce and is bordered in abalone as is the sound hole. This is a unique sounding guitar that has almost harp like tones. I usued this on ' The Fox's Prophecy' CD which is a musical adaption of the English poem of the same name.
Harmony Domino Dobro
Click to enlargeStella /Harmony 'Domino' Rersonator Guitar 1950 Great looking, good sounding little guitar with a biscuit cone. Black top with natural birch sides and back. Replacement top binding and a few minor patches in the back veneer. Extremely rare. Playing sample by Stuart Cumberpatch http://www.deltaechoes.co.uk/
